Tree Top Tumble is Tynwald Mills’ exciting indoor play area, designed to provide children of all ages with a safe and fun environment to explore, climb, and play. With dedicated areas for babies, toddlers, and older children,

Tree Top Tumble ensures that every little visitor has age-appropriate activities to enjoy. From the sensory zone for the tiniest adventurers to the large indoor play structure for older kids, there’s something to keep every child entertained.

Tree Top Tumble is a self-supervised play space, allowing parents and caregivers to accompany their children and join in the fun or relax nearby while keeping an eye on their little ones. Conveniently located within Tynwald Mills, the area also offers nearby seating and refreshments, making it an ideal destination for a family day out. Whether it’s a quick play session or a longer visit, Tree Top Tumble promises fun, excitement, and quality family time.

We operate the following session times every day

  • 10am-12pm
  • 1pm-3pm
  • 3pm-5pm

Pricing:

  • Under 2’s – £3.50 for up to 2 hours
  • Over 2’s – £5.50 for up to 2 hours.

Parties at Tree Top Tumble

Looking to create a fun and memorable party for your child? Our party packages are designed to make celebrations easy and enjoyable, with access to our exciting play facilities and a dedicated private hire room for your group. Please note that booking a private room does not include exclusive use of the entire play area, and other children may be present during your event.

To make your party even more special, we also offer mascots for hire, with over 10 characters to choose from. Pricing is £30 for one mascot or £50 for two.

What are the Tree Top Tumble Opening Hours?

Tree Top Tumble is open every day from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, with three 2-hour play sessions available for children to burn off some energy:
• 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
• 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
• 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

How much is it per child?

• Under 2s: £3.50 for up to 2 hours of play
• Over 2s: £5.50 for up to 2 hours of play

What does the play area include?

Tree Top Tumble has something to suit children of all ages:
• Sensory area for babies
• Mini play area for toddlers
• Large indoor play area for children over 4

How many children can it hold at any given time?

• Large play area: 45 children
• Sensory area: 8 babies
• Mini play area: 14 toddlers

What are the height and age restrictions?

• Baby and toddler areas: 4 years and under
• Large play area: Up to 11 years old or 1.45m in height

Are catering facilities available?

Yes. We have vending machines within our play area offering cold drinks, snacks, and coffee to go. For more substantial meals, you can visit Neb Café or Cat That Café. Please note that no food or drink is allowed in the play areas, but a designated seating area is provided nearby.

Can we host kids’ parties?

Yes we can! We can host children’s parties for up to a maximum of 25 kids. For any enquiries please contact events@tynwaldmills.com

Are baby changing facilities available?

Yes, baby changing facilities are available on-site.
